Our project team consists of agriculturalists and veterinarians who are experts in their field like livestock, agricultural economics, fertilization, irrigation,soil erosion, GHG emissions, soil organic carbon, carbon emission, cover crop, biochar amendment, crop adoption, soil cultivation, SOC, soil enzymes analysis, pharmacology, genetic, biometry, soil quality, using sensors to measure soil temperature, soil salinity and so on.
Most of our project members also got their master’s degree in different countries like the UK and USA.
We are working at regional agricultural research institute called as GAPTAEM. I put our web site link below if you would like to visit us. As a regional institute, we have 2600 m2 small husbandry farm and approximately 450 sheep on our research station. In addition, we have a cultivation area near to sheepfold and growing crops on the field are clover, barley, pistachio, olive and artificial pasture field.
Our project team is interested in taking part in PRIMA projects as a partner and conducting the project in Sanlıurfa where is located in Semi-Arid area and called as Harran Plain in the South East of Turkey.

Looking for partners. GAP Agricultural Research Institute (GAPTAEM) is a governmental institution. We located in Southeastern Anatolia Region (GAP) in TURKEY. Our institution (GAPTAEM) carries out agricultural research, improvement, education and dissemination activities. We would like to carry out joint projects with experienced researchers using the equipped laboratory facilities we have. It can be used for project collaboration as a partner in multidisciplinary research and innovation projects. It was also established to find solutions to agricultural problems.
