Ana Caño´s Lab (ERC Grant) is interested in joining consortiums as partner. They may provide expertise in:
- Drought resistance. They have recently discovered that modifying brassinosteroid signaling in the vascular tissues confers resistance to drought without penalizing growth.
-Developing genetic edition tools in the cereal Sorghum and in other crops in order to increase their productivity during drought periods.
-Image analysis software to enable phenotype and genotype data analysis in agriculture. Our software tools are available here.
- Signaling networks that control stem cell and meristem development in the root apex, which contribute to understand how plants grow and adapt to different environments.

Centre for Research in Agricultural Genomics- CSIC-IRTA-UAB-UB (CRAG) is devoted to leading-edge research in the molecular basis of genetic characters of interest in plants and farm animals, and in the applications of molecular approaches for breeding of species important for agriculture and food production.
Research at CRAG spans from primarily basic science to applied studies in close collaboration with Industry. The Center is organized into four different Scientific Programs: Plant Development and Signal Transduction, Plant Responses to Stress, Plant Synthetic Biology and Metabolic Engineering, and Plant and Animal Genomics
