I am interested in research themes within regenerative farming, farm models and sustainable farming practices in order to improve the productivity, economic viability and environmental performance of the farming systems
The University of Copenhagen (UCPH) is one of the largest research and education institution in Denmark and Scandinavia. UCPH is ranked among the 6 best in Europe and 30th in the world (Leiden Ranking, 2016). My research group is part of the Crop Science Section, Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences (PLEN) under the Faculty of Science. PLEN main areas of research are within agriculture, ecology, environment, and their interaction with societal challenges such as climate change and sustainability of food production systems. PLEN collaborates with universities, stakeholders and policy makers in Europe and abroad with research activities on process and system level understanding of crop ecosystems and food systems, including food and energy production and climate effects
