greenhouse gas emission, irrigation, co2, crop, water managment
As Soil Fertilizer and Water Resourches Central Research Institute, we have conducted many of project about greenhouse gas emission from soil. We have examined relationship between soil and chemical manure, soil-vermicompost and irigation aplications effect on greenhouse gas (CO2, N2O, CH4) emissions.
In particular, we want to work on projects that examine the effects of deficit irrigation and / or different irrigation practices on greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, we want to examine the effect of different soil cultivation and irrigation practices in artificial pasture areas on greenhouse gas emissions.
Soil Fertilizer and Water Resources Central Research Institute has been conducting research studies aimed at sustainable management of soil, fertilizer and water resources since March 1, 1954. Furthermore, the Institute aims to inherit more livable world for future generations through establishing policies in order to solve agricultural problems that may emerge in the future.
