We are interested in taking part in scientific projects, concerning re-integration of legumes/grass swards in crop rotation, especially in organic farming, and diversification aspects. We are interested on recycle nitrogen, phosphorus, carbon and improving other ecosystem services for higher potential in adapting to climate variation and self-sufficiency of mixed farming. Integration between crops and livestock farming in circular economy and environmental aspects are in list of interests.
The Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry (LAMMC) is a state research institution, whose activities are based on high-level basic and applied research, acquisition of novel scientific knowledge, development of technologies and innovations, their transfer and efficient experimental development. LAMMC conduct research activities in the fields of agronomy, horticulture, forestry science, ecology and other related fields, promote of sustainable land and forest economy and rural development. Presently the institution is involved in several international programmes and projects, is carrying out a few projects according to national science, ministries-supervised research programmes and research contracted by national and foreign business entities.
