SusCrop Consortium meeting, Bonn (December 12-13, 2019)

The last consortium meeting of 2019 took place on December 12-13 in Bonn, Germany. A current update on the budget and reporting timeline was given, followed by a short report on the past kick-off meeting and the workshops.

Successful kick-off meeting of the research projects of the 1st transnational call, Ghent (September 9-10, 2019)

The ERA-Net SusCrop welcomed about 65 participants to the projects’ kick-off meeting on the 9th of September 2019 in VAC, Ghent (Belgium). The participants were project leaders and involved researchers, SusCrop consortium members, funders and other stakeholders that came together to learn about the selected projects, network and discuss the state of the art in the field of sustainable crop production.

FACCE-JPI and ERA-NET Cofund SusCrop Joint Exploratory Workshop

On June 27-28 2019, a Joint Exploratory Workshop on Application of Novel Breeding Techniques in Crops was held at the National Institute for Agricultural and Food Research and Technology (INIA) in Madrid, Spain.

On March 26-27, the SusCrop network held its first consortium meeting of 2019 in Berlin. Important issues on the agenda were the intended procedures for monitoring and valorisation of the first transnational co-funded research projects (definition of indicators, reporting templates, etc.).

The first transnational joint call for research projects (co-funded by the EC) within the framework of SusCrop aimed at the selection of projects that will significantly contribute to the sustainable production of crops. It is intended to fund projects for a maximum of three years according to national regulations.
